Åhléns is a Swedish chain of department stores. It’s one of Sweden’s leading retailers and is located in almost every city. Åhléns has four main business areas: Beauty, Fashion, Homeware and Media. When Åhléns wanted to renew their Home department, we were asked to develop and design a new concept for the in-store communication and wayfinding. Our solution was a dynamic mix of signs, typography and patterns that both guides and inspires.
